Reason Behind True Believer
I think that Nicholas Sparks wrote True Believer because so many of his stories or books have been based of love stories between two very different people who find a way to fall in love. But True Believer is based on the theme of ghost, and different legends in the western North Carolina area. Also since he wrote so many love stories, he had to think of something different to keep people interested in reading his books. Nicholas Sparks also probably wrote this to keep from always writing cliche love stories and wanted this book to be more unusual and divergent from his current books. True Believer is almost completely differs from his many other books, the plot, characterization, the way it's written, the vocabulary, and mostly the setting are different from what he would usually write.
